Gifts & Grants Program

The Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation Gifts & Grants Program is established to provide supplemental financial support to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) in alignment with its mission, leadership priorities, and commitment to public service.

This program is designed to fund initiatives and opportunities that fall outside the scope of traditional or available government funding, ensuring that members of the Colorado State Patrol are equipped, supported, and empowered to perform their duties effectively while fostering organizational cohesion and community engagement.

Through the Gifts & Grants Program, the Foundation may provide full or partial financial support for:

  • Participation in community events that strengthen public trust, visibility, and engagement with the communities served by CSP

  • Team-building activities and experiences that support the wellness, morale, and cohesion of teams, troops, and specialized work groups

  • Special event operations that enhance CSP’s ability to execute its public safety mission during unique or large-scale events

  • Acquisition of equipment and resources not otherwise funded through standard channels

  • Training and professional development opportunities that advance the skills, readiness, and leadership capacity of CSP personnel

The Gifts & Grants Program reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting the men and women of the Colorado State Patrol by investing in initiatives that strengthen operational effectiveness, professional development, and community connection.

Prospective applicants should email John Anderson at john@cspff.net to express interest or have any program questions answered.  Applicants will receive a questionnaire to complete and return in advance of any financial commitment by the Foundation.

After the use of any funding, awardees are required to provide the Foundation with a short Impact Report (within 30 days) and if appropriate, provide photographs for the Foundation’s use.
