President/Immediate Past President Trooper Lance Paa joined the Colorado State Patrol on July 2, 1999. After graduation from the Colorado State Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop 3-C in Ft. Collins, Colorado, where he remains as of this date. Lance served as the President of the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundtion from January of 2006 until June 30, 2007.

William "Mark" HoltVice President
Sergeant Mark Holt joined the ranks of the Colorado State Patrol on September 29, 1991. He is currently a Sergeant in Troop 2-A in Canon City Colorado.
| Randy Novotny
Trustee Corporal Randy Novotny has been a member of the Colorado State Patrol since 1983 and is the Representative for District II. Randy has worked in the Colorado Springs area since graduationg from the Colorado State Patrol Training Academy in August of 1983. Corporal Novotny was one of only four Troopers selected to participate in the national pilot program for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) training. He has also participated in the Community Policing Consortium and was an original member of the Colordo State Patrol's Selections Team. Randy has also been active in community organizations including Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), local Neighborhood Watch programs and Drive Smart. | Jill DistelTrustee

Jill M Distel, Administrative Assistant III, employed by Colorado State Patrol since April 1, 1996. Board of Director of ACSPP since July 2004. Trustee for CSPFF since February 2006. She has worked in the legal profession as a Legal Assistant for 10 years for a private attorney and the 13th Judicial District Attorney’s office. Jill served a five (5) year term on our local school board’s District Accountability Board as well as Sterling High School and Sterling Middle School’s Accountability Board and treasurer and president of Sterling Athletic Booster Club.
Jill is currently a four (4) year member of the Logan County Planning and Zoning Board, four (4) year member of the Logan County Crimestoppers Board serving three (3) years as Treasurer, three (3) year chairperson for St Anthony’s Catholic Church Environmental Committee, and a three (3) year certified Child Passenger Safety Technician including a two (2) year Fit Station Coordinator with CPS Team Colorado.
She is married with two grown children and three wonderful granddaughters. | Jeremy Guddat Trustee 
Trooper Jeremy Guddat joined the Patrol in January of 2001. After graduating from the academy he was stationed in Troop 6A in Golden until September of 2003. He transferred to Troop 2C in Lamar working out of the La Junta post. In July of 2006 Jeremy transferred to the Operational Development Section (ODS) where he currently serves. He enjoys working in ODS and is committed to improving agency operations, forms, policies and programs in an effort to make the Patrol one of the top state law enforcement agencies in the country. Jeremy began serving on the Board of Directors in February of 2009 and is currently the editor of the Colorado State Trooper Magazine. He enjoys living with his beautiful wife and three adorable children in Lakewood, Colorado. | Larry Graves
Trustee Trooper Larry Graves joined the Colorado State Patrol January 8, 1996. He is currently assigned to Troop 4-C and resided in Avon, Colorado. | Julie Wohlers
Trustee Julie Wohlers is the surviving wife of one of our heros, a State Trooper killed in the line of duty.
Technician Lyle F. Wohlers was patrolling I-70 East of Georgetown, Colorado, on November 4, 1992, when he stopped a vehicle with two juvinile occupants aboard. After calling for assistance, Technician Wohlers was shot in the head by one of the juveniles. He lost his battle for life on November 5, 1992. The two juviniles were captured and convicted of the crime. Julie was born and raised in Sterling, Colorado. Before retiring in 1998, her thirty year professional career included real estate office and property managment. She was the office manager in a CPA firm, overseeing bookkeeping/payroll/accounts receivable/payable. She spent 14 years as a Recreation manager, election and budget officer for a Colorado Special Government Parks and Recreation District. Julie has one son and two grandsons. Since Lyle's death, Julie has continued to live in Dumont Colorado during the summer months, living in the house she and Lyle shared before his death. She is still active in her community and with the Colorado State Patrol. In the winter she travels to Tucson to avoid the cold and play a lot of golf. Julie has ensured her husband's memory by convincing the Board of Trustees to create the Lyle F. Wohlers Scholarship Fund within the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation. | Ron PraterTrustee Captain Ron Prater was born and reared in Chicago, Illinois. He now lives in Silverthorne with his wife Carol, and serves as the Trooper Commander for Troop 6-B. Ron has three children and one grandchild. He is a graduate of Bob Jones University, and he completed the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command in 2005. Ron has been involved with many community organizations and projects in Summit County. He is an instructor with the Colorado State Patrol Life Enrichment Unit. His duty assignments included time in the Four Corners area of Colorado and over a decade on the Interstate 70 corridor.

Michael A. Pahl, Chief Financial Officer for Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, is responsible for a myriad of management duties relating to the overall administration of the financial functions and performance of the firm. He assists in identifying, developing and implementing firm policies and procedures.
Prior to beginning his career in legal administration, Michael consulted in the management of accounting services for small businesses and was employed in public accounting.
Michael is Past President of the Mile High Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.
| Lonnie J. WestphalExecutive Director 
Lonnie J. Westphal was a member of the Colorado State Patrol for 29 years and retired in 2003 after serving as the Chief for the last 8 years of his career. He has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University, a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Denver, and served in the U.S. Navy as a Romanian linguist at the National Security Agency. He attended the Program for Senior Executives in State & Local Government at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the Police Executive Institute at the FBI Academy, and was a Board Member of the National Commission Against Drunk Driving. He is also a former Vice President of the International Association of Chiefs of Police and is currently a member of the Advisory Board for The Century Council, an organization funded by the major distillers of America and strives to reduce underage drinking and drunk driving. As of June of 2006, Lonnie Westphal took over as the Executive Director of the Association of Colorado State Patrol Professionals and the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation, which includes the management of the Alive @ 25 program. He has been married to his wife, Annette, for 42 years, has a grown sun living in Washington DC and a daughter who passed away on October 12, 2008, leave two children and her husband.
